    • The Detex MS2049F is a flush magnetic, mortise switch that detects when a door or window is opened.

    The MS2049 can be used as a direct switch for triggering audible and visual alarms. The magnetic circuit design guards against false alarms commonly caused by switch/magnet misalignment.    		Features:
    • Mortise installation - physically inaccessible while door is closed
    • Installs in ANSI* -sized cut-out in both door edge and jamb
    • Potted components assure protection against shock and moisture
    • Wide range of alarm and signal applications
    • Life expectancy of reed switches rated by manufacturer for over one million operations, under resistive load
    • Concealed wiring with color coded, 12" long leads
    • Minimizes false signals caused by loosely closed doors
    • For use on steel, aluminum, or wood doors and frames
    • Make-and/or-break circuit applications - Form "C" switch
