Yes, the GSMVLP5 comes with a sim card already installed. The cellular communicator only works with its pre-installed sim card. Users can't change the sim card's network, and the device can't operate without the sim card in place. The GSMVLP5 is designed specifically for use with the L5000 LYNX Touch Panel. After activating the communicator with your AlarmNet dealer by using the device's MAC address, the cellular communicator will begin sending alarm signals to your central station.
