This item fits a 36" door.
The 9827 vertical rod exit device is the cost-effective alternative, incorporating a contemporary touch bar styling, and the hardware is UL listed for panic exit hardware. It is specifically designed for all types of single and double doors. The Von Duprin QEL9827EO-313-3 series of exit devices is well constructed from heavy gauge rolled steel section with the proven heavy-duty touch bar mechanism that has been used so successfully in all architectural grade Von Duprin touch bar devices. There is a "smooth mechanism casing" on the 9827 series.
Exit devices may be remotely unlatched thanks to the QEL capability.
