Since it enables the door to be opened without retracting the latchbolt, the Von Duprin 6211-FS-24VDC-US32D series of Electric Strike is ideal for providing remote release of a locked door. The door closes, the beveled latchbolt rides over the lip, and it enters the electric strike pocket, releasing the electric strike lip, also known as the keeper or gate. For usage on new installations with mortise locks without deadbolts or cylindrical locks on single door, hollow metal frame applications, the 6211 series provides a good selection of electric strikes with highly adjustable features. Applications involving fresh building are well suited for it. Your door is more securely closed with the help of the electric strike and door hardware. |
