Dinion2X Day/Night IP cameras are progressive scan CCD cameras. They can quad-stream video simultaneously on two H.264 streams, an I-frame recording stream, and an M-JPEG stream. Equipped with 20-bit DSP with 2Xdynamic, they have a wide dynamic range for a sharper, more detailed image with outstanding color reproduction.
Features such as multicasting, internet streaming and iSCSI recording are fully supported. Dinion2X Day/ Night IP cameras have built-in video motion detection and additional processing power for video content analysis systems.

The Bosch NBN-498-21P Dinion2X Day/Night IP Camera, equipped with a 1/3" color progressive scan CCD sensor and Power over Ethernet, provides images with a maximum resolution of 704 x 576. Support for features including as multicasting, internet streaming, and iSCSI recording makes it a suitable solution for a wide variety of surveillance needs.
Even in challenging settings with high motion content, the Progressive Scan technology produces sharp images. Auto Black enhances the visibility of details in low-contrast environments, such as mist, fog, etc. The NBN-498-21P Dinion2X Day/Night IP Camera's SmartBLC function adjusts video gain to correct exposure when an item is captured in front of a strong light source. Using the Privacy Masking feature's four programmable privacy zones, it is possible to obstruct certain portions of a scene.
With H.264 compression, bandwidth throttling, and multicasting features, the Dinion2X Day/Night IP Camera efficiently manages bandwidth and storage needs, while also providing great image quality and resolution. The tri-stream video functionality permits the camera to simultaneously generate two distinct H.264 streams and one M-JPEG stream. This allows live streaming and recording of H.264 films while simultaneously transmitting M-JPEG photos to a different device. The M-JPEG video stream allows for simple integration with JPEG or M-JPEG-compatible video management systems.
Built-in Motion+ video motion analysis technology is suited for applications requiring investigation of fundamental video footage. The motion analysis technique is based on pixel change and includes extensive tamper detection and object size filtering capabilities. The Dinion2X Day/Night IP Camera is ONVIF (Open Network Video Interface Forum) compliant, which enables the exchange and use of information between network video products to exchange live video, audio, metadata, and control information, and the systems are automatically detected and linked to video management systems.
The Dinion2X Day/Night IP Camera supports common applications with six pre-programmed modes, and the modes can be be customized to meet specific needs. By enhancing the IR sensitivity, the camera can provide crisp photos in low-light environments. The built-in IR filter switches automatically from color to monochrome based on the degree of illumination or the alarm input. With Default Shutter, the camera may record fast-moving objects when adequate light is available; in low-light settings, the shutter speed resets to its default value to maintain sensitivity.
Having the ability to remotely upgrade the most recent firmware upgrades reduces investment expenditures. The camera is outfitted with many protection levels for network, camera, and data channel access. In addition, the camera supports 802.1x authentication with a Radius and password security with three levels. It employs HTTPS with an SSL certificate for secure web browser access, and AES encryption with 128-bit keys (license required) can be utilized to encrypt video and audio channels separately for comprehensive data security.
The SensUp Dynamic feature enhances the sensitivity by boosting the CCD's integration time by up to 10 times, allowing for clear images to be captured in lighting circumstances as dim as 0.2 lux. The camera's flexibility is enhanced by the ability to view the camera's video on a web browser, with the Bosch Video Management System, or with VIDOS. The PoE option allows for cost-effective installation and mobility, as the camera does not require a local power supply. To address power outages, you can alternatively use an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) using Power over Ethernet (PoE). In addition, Auto-MDIX is supported by the camera to facilitate network cabling.
