Adams Rite Electric Strike 12VAC Fail Secure, Clear Anodized Faceplate, 7100-340-628
The 4-7/8" Electric Strike from the 7100 series "Faceplates are made specifically for Adams Rite deadlatches or cylindrical locksets with latch bolt projections ranging from 1/2" to 5/8". It offers remote electrical control of any door fitted with an Adams Rite Deadlatch or cylindrical (key-in-knob/lever) lockset with 1/2" to 5/8" latchbolt projection from the 4500, 4700, or 4900 Series (or a comparable model). Here, the strike jaw is unlocked by electrical actuation, releasing the latch bolt and allowing the door to be opened without actuating the latch itself. The incredibly small mechanism of the Adams Rite 7100 series glides into aluminum jamb (or opposing door) portions as shallow as 1-5/8 ". It readily fits the setup for the 7000, 7500, and 7800 series Adams Rite electric strikes that are no longer manufactured.
used for remote access with a dead latch from the Adams Rite 4700 series (or a comparable model).
The latch on your door is moved back and forth by an electric current when you utilize an electric strike lock system. In secure parts of a firm, this kind of lock is frequently employed.
Because it is a Fail Locked type, which locks in the event of a power outage, it is not appropriate for public buildings with doors that must be opened in an emergency.
Stainless steel was used in the engineering of this electric strike door lock to increase strength and security. This mechanism has a 907kg holding force and is appropriate for doors made of aluminum.
