How do I change the code on my Lockey Mechanical Keyless Lock?

The process for changing combination codes on Lockey Mechanical Keyless Locks is basically the same.

The following instructions will work for the following Lockey series: 1000 Series, 2000 Series, 2900 Series, 3000 Series, 7000 Series, M-Series, and C-Series. (Make sure to change lock combinations BEFORE mounting to a door)

1. Remove the red screws from the back plate on the underside of the lock body. Then slowly remove the back plate, careful not to damage the attached springs.
2. Now press and hold the "C" button. You must hold this down continuously until you have properly reset the tumblers inside the lock.
3. Use a pair of tweezers to arrange code (red) and non-code (blue) tumblers to set your code. Adding red tumblers in place of blue tumblers will increase the digits in the code. Removing red tumblers and replacing with blue tumblers will decrease the number of digits in the code. (Different locks will be able to support different digit ranges)
4. When the code is programmed properly, replace the back plate and reattach the red screws.
5. Test the combination to make sure it's functioning properly. Now the lock is ready to be mounted.
