The 6148 features a back-lit keypad and an LCD screen that is designed to perform basic system programming. Because it has a fixed English display, the keypad only gives the user limited programming feedback. This keypad is not recommended for more advanced zone programming, where more feedback is necessary. Using the 6148 for high-level programming can result in accidental programming changes.
