Potter Amseco CR-200EWT Explosion Proof Fixed Temperature Heat Detector, 200 Degrees, Rate-of-Rise

The Model CR-200EWT is a combination rate-of-rise and fixed temperature detector that operates in the same way as the CR-135EWT, with the exception that the fixed temperature portion releases when the ceiling temperature reaches 200F (93C). Spacing on an uninterrupted ceiling is 70 ft. (21.3). The CR-200MP is identified by a white dot on the heat collector fin.
Similar to the CR135EWT, the Potter CR-200-EWT is a hybrid rate-of-rise and fixed temperature detector. The fixed temperature portion, however, only releases when the ceiling temperature exceeds 200 F (93 C). Furthermore, a continuous ceiling has a 50-foot span (15m). A basic THERMOFLEX heat detector's cast aluminum casing also makes it appropriate for use in hazardous environments, such as those that need detectors that are explosion-proof, water-tight, and dust-tight.
The EWT series also complies with Division 1 criteria, which refer to locations where under normal operating conditions an explosive mixture of gas, vapor, dust, fibers, or flyings may exist. The Potter CR-200-EWT cast aluminum enclosure is also suitable for sites requiring applications that are weatherproof, watertight, and dusttight. Dust-tight enclosures are needed for Class II equipment. The EWT enclosure complies with CSA IV and NEMA 4 standards. |
