    • The Arecont Vision AV8185DN SurroundVideo 8 Megapixel Day/Night 180 Panoramic IP Camera with four 2 Megapixel CMOS image sensors and IR corrected lens, delivers clear images at a resolution of 1600 x 1200 (each sensor). A minimum illumination of 0 lux makes the camera suitable for use even in complete darkness. The H.264 (MPEG 4, Part 10) compression standard compatibility allows the unit to provide bandwidth and storage efficiency 10 times more than average MJPEG standards.

    Motion detection triggers an alarm when motion is detected in a designated portion of the video display. The on-camera motion detection regulates many detection zones. Automatic gain control adjusts the signal strength to maintain a constant brightness level and backlight compensation adjusts video gain to correct the exposure when the object being captured is in front of a bright light. With the auto multi-matrix white balance feature, the IP Camera takes a standard white color reference to adjust the RGB (red, green, and blue) colors to produce good quality images in different light conditions.

    Power is supplied to the camera through PoE. The camera gets power from the network itself without any extra wiring for auxiliary power outlets. The programmable shutter speed helps you control motion blur, resulting in crisp and clear images. Integrated heater and blower are used to regulate the internal temperature of the camera.
