JMAC Supply Return Policies


General Policy:


All returns MUST have a Return Authorization (RA) number which can be obtained by completing the RA Request Form found on the bottom of this page. You may also E-mail: support@jmac.com

Depending on the type of return, one of the following three policies will apply (they are described below):

Unopened Item Return Policy:


This policy applies to items that are Brand New and still in their original manufacturer's seal. Items which are opened are not included under this policy. The most common reasons for a return that falls under this policy are "changed mind" or "my customer canceled."

In order to return an item under this policy, the following criteria must be met:

- An RA number must be requested within 14 days of the items delivery.
- All merchandise must be unopened and in Brand New condition with all components and manufacturer's literature and packaging.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable*.
- Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Upon receipt of your return, the item(s) will be inspected to ensure that they are in the condition specified above. Once the return has passed inspection, your original payment method will be credited for the merchandise amount (shipping charges are non-refundable*) less a 7% restocking fee**.

* Many items for sale at JMAC Supply are offered with Free Shipping. When these items are returned, actual shipping charges will be deducted from any refund that is due.

** Re-Stocking fees can often be waived if you are upgrading to another model or purchasing another item from our store. Please contact us for more information.



Opened Item Return Policy:


This policy applies to items that are still in new and working condition but have been opened or tested without marking or damaging the item. Items that are marked in any way, missing pieces or packaging, repackaged or damaged in any way can not be returned. The most common reasons for returning an item under this policy are "item doesn't work with my system" or "item does not perform as expected."

(In order to avoid any costly restocking fees or return shipping fees, we encourage you to confirm compatibility or functionality prior to ordering an item. Our staff may be able to assist you in selecting the proper items for your application).

In order to return an item under this policy, the following criteria must be met:

- An RA number must be requested within 14 days of the items delivery.
- All merchandise must be in reasonable, like-new condition with all components, manufacturer's literature and packaging.
- Items that have been "mounted" or show other signs of wear and tear or customer use cannot be returned.
- Shipping charges are non-refundable*.
- Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer.

Upon receipt of your return, the item(s) will be inspected to ensure that they are in the condition specified above. Once the return has passed inspection, your original payment method will be credited for the merchandise amount (shipping charges are non-refundable*) less a restocking fee between 17% and 25% depending on the item or manufacturer**.

* Many items for sale at JMAC Supply are offered with Free Shipping. When these items are returned, actual shipping charges will be deducted from any refund that is due.

Defective Merchandise:


ALL items ordered from JMAC Supply are brand new (unless otherwise noted in our open-box section) and shipped to you as is in their original packaging from the manufacturer. All manufacturer's warranties apply and we are glad to represent our customers in facilitating a warranty repair or replacement when defective merchandise is received or discovered during use. Please visit the manufacturer's websites or contact us to find out more about specific warranty coverages.

We encourage you to report any defect as soon as it is noticed to ensure that you can take advantage of any warranty benefits which may apply. Please do so by requesting an RA using the RA Request Form on the bottom of this page or by E-mailing: support@jmac.com

All manufacturer's warranties will be honored. Please be advised that depending on the nature of your claim, and the manufacturer of the item, you may be offered a replacement or a warranty repair. We will do our best to represent our customer's interests to secure the best possible resolution. Ultimately however, it is the manufacturer's decision and we cannot be held responsible for the method that is chosen.

In certain situations, you may be required to troubleshoot an item with a manufacturer's tech support prior to being issued an RA.

Note: There are times when the warranty claim process does not happen as quickly as we would like. Please be advised that we are doing everything we can to ensure that you receive the proper service as quickly as possible. Please feel free to contact us if you wish to request a status update for your warranty claim.


Note (The following does not apply to defective merchandise):
  • All returns may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% depending on the item or manufacturer.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable and it is the customer's responsibility to cover any costs related to returning a product.
  • We cannot accept returns on merchandise that has been damaged, shows signs of use, or is missing any parts, or manufacturer's literature or packaging .
  • Any consumable items such as batteries, blank media, film, paper, or bulbs cannot be returned.
