Where do I mount my HD-11 gas detector?

It is best to mount the Macurco HD-11 Hydrogen Gas Detector high up in a room, especially in areas containing sources of hydrogen gas. Mount the detector on a flat, fixed service, and avoid placing in a corner, where there is obstructed airflow. Try to keep the detector away from combustible gases that can interfere with the device's sensor, which include paint thinner, gasoline, solvents, ammonia, and alcohol.

Keep the detector in an area where ambient temperature is between 32 and 120 degrees Fahrenheit. When installing multiple detectors, mount the devices 900 feet apart and one foot below the ceiling. In areas with poor airflow, additional detectors may be necessary.
