Does my UltraTech UT 1240 battery come with a warranty?

Yes, your UltraTech UT 1240 battery comes with a 2 year manufacturer's warranty.

The manufacturer's warranty covers battery defects that pre-maturely render the battery inoperable, but it doesn't cover battery lifespan.

Sealed lead-acid batteries
(SLAs), like the UT 1240, have an average lifespan of 3-5 years (or 1,000 discharge/charge cycles), which can fluctuate depending on the depth of battery cycling, ambient temperature, and ultimately, battery chemistry. SLAs are constructed of electro-chemical cells that eventually fail over time, which is why your battery will require a future replacement in 3-5 years.
