Checking your system's event log can be done easily using the 6160 or 6160RF alphanumeric keypads. First, disarm your system by entering the master code, then "#", then "6", then "0". The keypad display will show a:
1) 3-digit event number
2) 4-digit event code
3) Zone number
4) The event's corresponding partition number
5) The date/time the event occurred
When Navigating the event log:
The pound sign (#) scrolls to more recent events.
The asterisk (*) scrolls to older events.
You will exit the event log menu if any number on the keypad is pressed other than the asterisk or the pound sign.
