How many alarm sirens can be wired to the Vista 10P Control Panel?

Last Updated: 11/13/2013
That depends on how much current each Honeywell siren is drawing, and how much available power your control panel can supply.

Calculating the number of sirens the Vista 10P can support...

The Vista 10P provides 2.0 amps of available current siren output terminals. Figure out the current draw of your siren. If it only requires 0.5 amps of current, like the WAVE2 siren, then the control panel can support four of these sirens. If a siren draws 1.0 amps, the panel can only handle two of these sirens. However, an auxiliary power supply, like the Honeywell AD12612, can be added to the system to help support the wiring of additional alarm sirens.

Installing Sirens...

Terminals 3 and 4 on the Vista 10P Control Panel are designed for siren outputs. If you want to connect multiple sirens, you will have to wire them in parallel by connecting positive siren terminals to terminal 3 on the control panel, and negative siren terminals to terminal 4 on the control panel.
