MM15 stands for MEMLOCK (Mechanical and Electromagnetic Lock). It has 4000 lbs. of holding force (1814 kg) and provides a high level of security and access control. With dual voltage (12/24) and dual current (AC/DC), AC: 130 mA max at 12 VAC, 250 mA max at 24 VAC, and DC: 100 mA max at 12 VDC, 200 mA max at 24 VDC. This allows for operation for interior or perimeter doors where ultra-high security and smaller, compact sizes are required.

Please be careful when installing the MM15, it is capable of holding 4000 lbs. It is the responsibility of the installer to be sure that the frame or header has adequate strength to prevent screw pullout.

The MM15 comes in four different models including the standard MM15 which is just the electromechanical maglock. For other features, there is the MM15DT which is the maglock, but with DPS and an anti-tamper switch. There is also the MM15G which comes with a conduit. Lastly, the MM15GDT comes with all three m conduit, DPS, and an anti-tamper switch feature.

The MM15 is a hybrid design, which has two spring loaded, hardened steel jaws. This assists in the event of a forced entry attempt, where the mandibles will rotate inward, and clamp down; capturing the edges of the framework.

Its Mounting plate provides a simple installationonduit. It has optional finishes with dress covers including black, polished brass and satin brass. It has brackets and accessories to configure any opening. With an operating temperature of -40 to +140F [-40 to +60C], this is made for indoor use only. The MM15 comes with the MagnaCare lifetime replacement, no-fault warranty.
