When receiving this digital keypad, it will come pre-programmed and synced to the DKC digital controller. The DKC-37 gives the ability to use advanced programming features. Such as allowance to have complete control of up to two electrically locked doors. This device has 12-key cast stainless steel 2x6 keypad with silicone rubber keys. The keypad is 1-1/2"W x 7"H x 1"D, and the enclosure’s size is 6"W x 8"H x 3"D. It is fully weatherproof, operating at a temperature of -22 to +158F [-30 to +70C] and designed for narrow stile applications. It is also vandal proof and offers a wide array of flexibility and ease

The different models of the DKC-37 are separated by color and programming modes. Those that operate in character mode are the DKC-37CSS

The wiegand mode models do not come with the controller, they are the DK-37WSS, which is satin stainless, and the DK-37WBK which is the same product in color black. Please note that some of these models are currently discontinued.

This stainless steel keypad has a dual-voltage of 12 VDC or 12 VDC minimum 1A supply for the base unit, add supply current for any devices connected to the DC outputs for CPU and 12 VDC: 7 mA at rest; 35 mA active or 24 VDC: 16 mA at rest; 75 mA active for the keypad. It mounts on a narrow mullion and has field selectable wiegand or character mode output. Please note that the keypad is shipped in ‘wiegand mode’ from the factory. When programming or interfacing with the DKC, please change the keypad to ‘character mode’ and ensure that ‘character’ is selected in the programming tool. It comes available as a system with the DKC digital controller or separately.

There are two programming levels available to the user, master and supervisor program mode. In master program mode, all programs can be done without restriction, in the supervisor mode, only commands related to user or one-time codes can be used. The DKC-37 has audible keystroke and red, green and yellow status LEDs. Lastly, it comes with a 16 foot (4.88m) cable and the MagnaCare lifetime replacement, no fault warranty.
